We do this by utilising the medicinal properties of plants, fungi and minerals to support the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of our customers. Since this practice is deeply embedded in the customs and traditions of ancient civilisations, we intend to make this ancient wisdom accessible to contemporary consumers.

Our Story

Like most great stories, ours began with the dire need for personal transformation.

With the debilitating effects of adrenal fatigue and post-viral fatigue syndrome, our co-founder Josh sought healing through the medicinal properties of adaptogenic herbs, fungi, minerals, and cacao. The amalgamation of ancient ingredients became a significant support system to rebuild Josh’s strength, vitality and the many multifaceted layers that denote wellbeing.

However, upon constructing his supportive tonics, Josh found frustration in the lack of quality ingredients available on the market. His intention to craft superior tonics was met with the disheartening realisation that many companies had cast aside quality with the flick of their wrists. Josh found that although adaptogenic ingredients and cacao-based consumables were established in the health market, quality, potency, and consistency were not.

That’s when Adaptonic was conceptualised. Against the lack of authenticity, Adaptonic chose to rise and break the mould of the herbal tonic industry with an ethical, sustainable, organic, and efficacious alternative.

So, in 2022 co-founder Josh embarked on a journey to marry the nutritive properties of cacao with the healing characteristics of hand-selected adaptogens. After more than 18 months of intensive product research, numerous formulation tests and sourcing for the most potent and ethical ingredients, Adaptonic was born…..
