(Standardised means the extract is formulated to contain a certain percentage of the main beneficial
compounds in the substance.)
Yes, we use standardised extracts to ensure the quality, consistency and strength of our blends.
Unfortunately, many of the extracts on the market are labelled 10:1 etc which gives the consumer
no idea of the strength or quality.
Our mushroom extracts are all 30% Beta D Glucan content as a minimum, and we only use the
fruiting body. Our Rhodiola Rosea (rosavin, salidroside), Shilajit (fulvic acid) and Mucuna Pruriens
(Levodopa) are all standardised.
We also believe standardised extracts are helping to clean up the industry. Majority of the
mushroom extracts on the market are made from the mycelium and substrate (usually saw dust).
This is where the 10:1 comes in. If you were trying to make standardised extracts from this, you
would be going broke. Standardised extracts are leading to the propagation of better quality
mushrooms, herbs and plants, simple.
